A Filipino sailor was rescued from a private vessel early this morning following injuries sustained in an incident on board.
The AFM Operations Centre dispatched a Melita SAR boat to assist the sailor.
The imjured sailor was taken to Hay Wharf base and transported to hospital by ambulance.
