A mass funeral has taken place for 35 of the victims of last Wednesday’s deadly earthquake that claimed more than 290 lives.
Two of the coffins were white, for two small children who died in the earthquake.
Prime Minister Matteo Renzi and President Sergio Mattarella were at the service for 35 people from the tiny hillside villages of Arquata and Pescara del Tronto.
