The Ministry of Health has confirmed that four elderly people died after testing positive for Covid-19.
In the first case, a 76-year-old man, who tested positive for Covid-19 on October 4, died on December 4 at Mater Dei Hospital.
In the second case, an 83-year-old woman, who tested positive for Covid-19 on November 19, died yesterday at Mater Dei Hospital.
In the third case, a 76-year-old man, who tested positive for Covid-19 on November 21, died this morning at Mater Dei Hospital.
In the fourth case, an 83-year-old man, who tested positive for Covid-19 on November 28, died this morning at Mater Dei Hospital.
The Ministry of Health, while offering its condolences to the families of the elderly, calls on everyone to remain vigilant and follow preventive measures; hand washing, wearing masks and physical distance.
