The Ministry of Health confirmed that two elderly patients died after contracting Covid-19.
In the first case, an 83-year-old man, who was confirmed positive for Covid-19 on November 6, died late last night at Mater Dei Hospital.
In the second case, a 70-year-old woman, who tested positive for Covid-19 on October 20, died on Tuesday at Mater Dei Hospital.
The Ministry of Health, while offering its condolences to the families of the elderly, calls for everyone to abide by preventive measures including hand washing, social distance and the use of masks, only then can we make a difference.
