The first edition of The 10KM L-Istrina Palace Run was a success, bringing together almost 800 runners who ran from Verdala Castle to St. Anthony’s Palace, in a new initiative in aid of the Malta Commnity Chest Fund.
In her first comments before the start of the run, H.E. President Myriam Spiteri Debono expressed her satisfaction with the turnout for this run, and thanked all participants for their gesture that will continue to support the Malta Community Chest Fund to be there for all those who need it.
The 10KM L-Istrina Palace Run was conceived by Major Richard Vassallo, with the support of Mr Joseph Micallef and sponsors Eurosport and the Good Causes Fund. The next edition of The 10KM L-Istrina Palace Run will be held on 14 June 2026.
