During inspections on Saturday and Sunday morning, 35 people were arrested for living and working in Malta illegally.
The inspections, which targeted public transport in Marsa and Paceville, were carried out by police officers with assistance from the Detention Services Agency.
Those arrested were taken to a detention center in order to start their return process, while further inspections will continue in the coming days and weeks.
