A young woman died after being hit by falling rocks while swimming near St Thomas Bay.
According to police, the incident happened at around 3pm in Marsaskala.
A medical team and members of the Civil Protection Department went to help her and transferred her to Mater Dei Hospital but sadly she died shortly afterwards.
