The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr Anġlu Farrugia, will be making an official visit to the United Arab Emirates from April 29 to 30, 2024. This important visit aims to strengthen diplomatic ties and cooperation between our two countries.
During the visit, the Speaker will meet with government officials and key stakeholders to discuss various bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest. The visit will also provide an opportunity to explore potential areas for collaboration and partnership between the respective parliaments.
The United Arab Emirates is a key ally and partner of Malta, and this visit underscores the importance of the strong bilateral relationship between both countries. The Speaker’s visit aims to foster positive and constructive relations with the United Arab Emirates for the benefit of both countries and their respective citizens. It will also serve to further strengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation at the people-to-people level.
During his visit, Dr Farrugia will be accompanied by Ambassador Joseph Cole and Malta’s Ambassador to the UAE, Maria Calleja.
