A record 2,200 swab tests were performed in the last 24 hours. Of these record number of swabs, 49 positive cases were found.
The Ministry of Health is calling for accountability at the moment and there should be no speculation with numbers or spreading false news that alarms people for nothing. So far there are no patients in the Intensive Care Unit so everyone should be cautious in their comments about critically ill patients.
The Ministry of Health would like to thank all the health workers who are once again doing everything possible to fight the Covid-19 move.
Performing a large number of tests is one of the most effective measures against Covid-19 as it will be able to isolate positive cases and quarantine anyone who has had contact with them, thus further reduce the spread.
