In a bilateral meeting, Malta and Armenia agreed to work more together in the tourism field.
The main points of discussion between the Minister for Tourism Clayton Bartolo and the Minister for the Armenian Economy Vahan Kerobyan involved more cooperation between the two countries when it comes to air connectivity with the introduction of direct flights between Malta and the Armenian capital city, Yerevan, as well as other opportunities related to the hospitality industry. This meeting took place during the Forum Internazionale del Turismo which is being held in Baveno, Italy.
