An 80-year-old man from Zejtun died after getting into difficulties while swimming in St Thomas Bay in Marsaskala on Tuesday evening.
Police, a medical team and AFM team, together with a Civil Protection unit, were called to the bay but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
