Andrew Attard, aged 48, from Hamrun, appeared in court on Monday charged with assaulting a Nationalist Party supporter at the party’s club in Hamrun.
Attard pleaded not guilty to the alleged assault which happened during the San Cajetan feast celebrations in the town on August 13.
The victim, Noel Attard Bonnici, had to be hospitalized after the incident.
