Minister for Home Affairs, Security, Reforms and Equality Byron Camilleri held talks with the Austrian Federal Minister of Defence, Klaudia Tanner.
Both sides discussed common issues during the meeting, including defence and neutrality. At the top of the agenda was defence cooperation between neutral EU Member States, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and immigration.
During the talks, Minister Camilleri also referred to the Maltese Presidency of the United Nations Security Council and how the Presidency is fostering stronger diplomatic and bilateral relations with countries worldwide.
