Covid restrictions ease with masks no longer mandatory for those who have booster jab

Health Minister Chris Fearne has announced the relaxing of a number of Covid-19 restrictions as from next Monday.

Among the new measures, masks will no longer necessary for those who have received the booster jab from Monday in groups of two or less, the two-metre distance rule will be relaxed in restaurants and eateries and spectators can return to sporting events providing they have vaccination certificate.

Minister Fearne made the announcement while inaugurating a new geriatric care centre at Saint Vincent De Paul Residence.
