TVM has announced the twenty-two semi-finalists that will be competing in the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2022.
The twenty-two acts that will compete to represent Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin, Italy have been announced. The list of participants was published by TVM this evening. The semi-finalists are:

- Jessica Grech – Aphrodisiac
- Janice Mangion – Army
- Denise Mercieca – Boy
- Matt BLXCK – Come Around
- Baklava Ft Nicole – Electric Indigo
- Sarah Bonnici – Heaven
- Richard Micallef – Hey Little
- Norbert Bondin – How special you are
- Derrick Schembri – II
- Nicole Azzopardi – Into The Fire
- Jessica Muscat – Kaleidoscope
- Miriana Conte – Look what you’ve done now
- Emma Muscat – Out of Sight
- Raquel Galdes Briffa – Over You
- Jade Vella – REVELACIÓN
- Francesca Sciberras – Rise
- Aidan Cassar – Ritmu
- Mark Anthony Bartolo – Serenity
- Enya Magri – Shame
- Malcolm Pisani – We came for love
- Rachell Lowell – White Doves
Among the artists trying to represent Malta in Turin are two singers who have been to Eurovision before. Nicole Azzopardi represented Malta at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2010, while Jessica Muscat represented San Marino at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2018.
The Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2022 will be held in February with a semi-final and final planned. From the twenty-two songs that compete in the semi-final, sixteen will progress through to the final. The winner will be determined by a jury and public televote.
