A 22-year-old Albanian national who lives in Valletta was seriously injured after losing control of his motorbike and colliding with a crash barrier in Pieta.
The accident happened at around 10.30pm in Triq ix-Xatt in Pieta on Friday night.
He was treated at the scene before beingtaken to Mater Dei Hospital.
