Three people were taken to hospital following two separate traffic accidents on Sunday.
A man was taken to Mater Dei Hospital with serious injuries after apparently losing control of his car and crashing into a pole in Gudja.
A female passenger was slightly injured.
In a second accident a woman was seriously injured after being hit by a car in Triq it-Tiġrij in Qormi.
