A man was arrested following an alleged assault and robbery in Marsa on Wednesday.
Shortly after 11am police received a report that a man had been assaulted and robbed in August 6th Garden in Marsa.
The injured man said he had been attacked and robbed and from a description he gave police of his attacker, officers stopped a man fitting that description.
The suspect became aggressive before officers finally apprehended him. He was found to be carrying a number of pointed weapons.
