A plane carrying civilian parachutists has crashed in the city of Menzelinsk, Tatarstan, a source from emergency services has told TASS.
“There were 20 people on board,” the source said.
Seven people have been rescued, the press service of the Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations told TASS.

The Czech-made L-410 plane crashed at 9.23am (0623 GMT) in the republic of Tatarstan with 22 people on board. The plane broke in two on impact, according to images released by the Russian emergency ministry.
