During a visit to Centrecom’s call center in Mosta, Prime Minister Robert Abela closely observed the organized process of taking thousands of daily phone calls from the workers of this company. He noted employees’ sense of appreciation for flexible working hours and other measures that help them strike a balance between family and work.
During the visit, the Prime Minister thanked the dedicated staff for their daily work in keeping the public informed about government services offered by the Public Service and other government entities.
The Prime Minister also heard that 85% of the employees are between 18 and 39 years old while 63% of the workers are women and subsequently also hold senior and managerial positions within the company.
As part of Centrecom’s vision of inclusivity, the company also employs 10 people with disabilities.
Over the past year, the company has received more than a million calls related to services offered under the hood of service.gov, among other calls offering the necessary assistance for services offered by other government entities.
Centrecom CEO Robert Spiteri said the company is constantly investing in staff training while ensuring that they have the best tools and the most advanced technology on the market in order to be able to offer a service. of excellence.
