Malta is expected to be among the UK Green Travel destinations when Transport Secretary Grant Shapps announces the countries deemed safe later today.
Portugal and Iceland are also thought to be on the list.
Countries on the Green List no longer need to self-isolate. Take a pre-departure test and a PCR test on day two of your arrival in the UK.
Amber destinations: Self-isolate for ten days required.
Red destinations: Spend 10 days in quarantine hotel.
