The Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries, Food and Animal Rights Anton Refalo and the Mayor of the Żejtun Local Council Doris Abela inaugurated the project ‘Animals are also part of the community’ . The council had applied for funding through the LC Care scheme in 2020 from which it will benefit from a total of € 6,400.
Minister Refalo praised the initiatives of the local council and the work that is being done while also talking about how much the funds that are being given to the local councils through this scheme are translating into good for the community. . This further provides a clear indication of how much the government continues to support those who ask for help, especially financial aid.
