Opposition Leader Bernard Grech has taken Prime Minister Robert Abela to task over the rise in Covid-19 cases.
Speaking at a press conference following the announcement by the prime minister of new Covid-19 restrictions, Bernard Grech put the blame on the rise in cases on a stubborn prime minister who would not listen to advice by public health experts.
He said the prime minister had lost control of the situation and now the people had lost faith in him.
The Opposition Leader was in no mood to offer assistance to the government in tackling the Covid-19 outbreak ripping into Robert Abela saying his government was running on crisis management.
Bernard Grech said if he were Prime Minister he would have taken the necessary measures on time.
