28 people were found to be living irregularly in the country during Police inspections coordinated with the Detention Services Agency.

They were caught during inspections in the area of the Floriana market and a shopping complex near the Qormi Park and Ride, as well in residences in Ħamrun, San Ġwann, Mosta and Birkirkara.

Those detained were taken to a detention centre where the process of deporting them began.
