Authorities have issued a “Danger to life” red warning as Storm Darragh batters the UK.
Parts of Northern Ireland have already felt the affects of the storm with winds reaching 90mph. Thousands of homes are without electricity.
The rest of the UK, stretching from Bristol across to Wales and reaching as far north as Scotland are expected to feel the impact of the storm during the morning. Flights have been delayed and train services halted.
Amber and yellow warnings are in place along much of the West of the UK.
