Scheme will be launched so that young Gozitans will have experience in the workplace this summer

The Minister for Gozo and Planning Clint Camilleri announced the launch of the Work Trial Scheme For Youths. This scheme is intended for Gozitan youth and students between 16 and 20 years old, with the aim of allowing them to gain work experience with private entities and non-governmental organizations during this summer.

The Work Trial Scheme for Youths, is a scheme of the Ministry for Gozo and Planning, with the aim of introducing young people as well as students, who attend courses in various academic entities, to the world of work and also helps them in their career choice.

Minister Camilleri claimed that this scheme, which was introduced six years ago, has always continued to be improved as the Ministry listened both to the young people who participated and to those entities that recruited them. Through this scheme, the students will have earnings of €110 per week, with a total of €550 in five weeks. The scheme will start on Monday, August 5, and will remain in force until Friday, September 6.

Interested individuals can submit their applications online between Monday, July 1, and Friday, July 5, until noon. The application is obtained from gozo.gov.mt.
