Opposition Leader Bernard Grech meets with MEP’s elected on PN ticket

The work of the Nationalist MEPs will be focused on the issues that affect the quality of life of Maltese and Gozitan citizens.
The message from Nationalist Party leader Bernard Grech in the first meeting he had with the three Members of the European Parliament elected on behalf of the Nationalist Party. In the meeting with the President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola and with the European Members of Parliament David Casa and Peter Agius, the Leader of the Nationalist Party congratulated them for their electoral result and said that this contributed to the electoral result obtained by the Nationalist Party.
He continued that the message that the people sent in these elections must be reflected in the work that must be done in Brussels. Grech said that the work of the MEPs elected on behalf of the Nationalist Party must be coordinated to reflect the priorities that the Party has placed in its Electoral Program for these elections. During the meeting themes of national importance were also mentioned, such as tax harmonisation, as well as civil rights which on many occasions end up being used as a political ball. Another important theme for the Nationalist MEPs delegation is food security and the protection of farmers, villagers and fishermen.
