Local News Collective agreement signed between Malta Tourism Authority, General Workers Union and Union of Malta Tourism Authority Employees 5 June 2024 Facebook Twitter Pinterest WhatsApp A collective agreement was signed between the Malta Tourism Authority, the General Workers Union and the Union of Malta Tourism Authority Employees through which the conditions of all workers working within the same Authority will continue to improve. This collective agreement covers the period between 2022 and 2027. In response to this agreement, the Minister for Tourism and Public Cleanliness Clayton Bartolo expressed his satisfaction for this agreement which is so important for tourism in our country. “The work done by the workers of the Malta Tourism Authority is reflected in the record result we are experiencing when it comes to the hospitality industry in the Maltese Islands. It deserves that these workers continue to have better conditions so that the tourist history of our country continues to be written with more success,” stressed Minister Clayton Bartolo.
