Sir Jeffrey Donaldson has quit as leader of the Democratic Unionist Party after he was charged with offences of a historical nature.
The 61-year-old was charged on Friday and is due to appear in court next month.
Sir Jeffrey, who was elected leader of the DUP in June 2021, has been suspended from the DUP.
