Our commitment will continue by working harder so that tourism and public cleanliness go hand in hand for the time to come,” stressed Minister Clayton Bartolo.
Parliamentary Secretary Glenn Bedingfield listed how thanks to the dedication of the workers of this Division, whoever will pass through the streets of San Gijljan today will not even notice that yesterday there was so much activity, as in a weather of a few hours everything was cleaned. “It is crucial that the cleaning work is done after these celebrations are over, but it is equally important that all those who attend do their part to help us really take care of our country,” concluded the parliamentary secretary.
The General Director Ramon Deguara reiterated that the cleaning was done in a relatively short time and this is thanks to a coordination between the human resource and the investment made in the last months, which are giving an excellent result.
