BCA, the Building and Construction Authority, this weekend and including earlier today continued to provide assistance to a third party affected by works being carried out in Triq l-Iskola in Ħal Qormi.
BCA officers visited the site and carried out the necessary inspections and verifications. The same Authority subsequently took action and issued a stop work notice.
Referring to reports on social media in relation to this case, the Authority clarified that it had been following this case since December.
The Authority stated it is in continuous contact with the affected third party, has offered all the necessary assistance, and is committed to resolving the situation as speedily as possible.
OHSA, the Occupational Health and Safety Authority, took immediate action after following the latest developments in connection with these works.
