For a team that once ruled the premier league with a vice-like grip, this tumble from the giddy heights has been dramatic and deeply worrying, for players, the board and supporters.
Can Valletta shake of the cloak of lethargy that has infected them this season?. It would certainly be against all expectations if they get anything from Saturday’s encounter. One thing is for certain. Valletta will not simply roll over, they will give their all against the league leaders, the fear is their all may not be enough.
