During the weekend, police officers, operating jointly with other entities, conducted inspections in places of entertainment to ensure that they are operating according to the law when it comes to licenses, licenses of bouncers and workers.
During these inspections, 24 establishments were checked resulting in 10 persons being arrested because they were acting as bouncers, but without the necessary license to operate in a place of entertainment, or without permission to work in Malta.
