A 43-year-old woman from Colombia died after being stabbed at a residence in Sliema on Saturday morning, police said.
In a statement, police said that a man, also from Colombia, handed himself into officers at the Sliema police station shortly after 6am this morning, saying he had killed a woman in an apartment.
Officers went to the apartment in Triq Sir George Borg in Sliema, where the found the woman who had died from knife wounds.
