Due to heavy snowfall over recent days, Munich Airport are operating with limited capabilities and as such have not permitted Air Malta to operate its flights KM306 from Malta to Munich, and KM307 from Munich to Malta today, Monday 4th December.
This follows on from the cancellations of:
– KM309 on Friday 1st December 2023
– KM306 on Saturday 2nd December 2023
– KM307 on Saturday 2nd December 2023
– KM308 on Saturday 2nd December 2023
– KM309 on Saturday 2nd December 2023
– KM306 on Sunday 3rd December 2023
– KM307 on Sunday 3rd December 2023
– KM308 on Sunday 3rd December 2023
– KM309 on Sunday 3rd December 2023
Airlines continue to await further updates from Munich Airport.
Customers who have booked their flight directly through Air Malta may send an email to refundrequest@airmalta.com to request a full refund.
For flights booked through travel agents, customers are requested to contact their travel agent to submit a refund request on their behalf.
If customers would like to re-book their ticket to another flight, they should contact the Air Malta Customer Service Centre on 00356 21662211, Monday to Friday from 08.00 to 20.00 and Saturday and Sunday to 08.00 to 18.00. Customers are requested to quote their booking reference or ticket number in order to assist efficient handling.
Air Malta apologise for any inconvenience caused through this weather situation and airport restrictions which is outside the control of all airlines.
