A 42-year-old inmate at the Corradino Correctional Facility was hospitalised and is reportedly in danger of dying after a self-harm incident on Sunday morning.
The incident was reported just after 8.30am roll call this morning.
The person had been inside the Correctional Services Agency for a few weeks, and was provided with medical help and was seen by a psychologist two days ago. The Agency made a report to the police and was informed that a magisterial inquiry had been appointed.
