A man has been arrested in connection with the shooting of a flamingo, a protected species, in Naxxar on Sunday morning.
Police received a report of the shooting at 9am on Sunday morning. When officers arrived at the scene, in Qalet Marku, near Baħar iċ-Ċagħaq, they were told the suspect had already left in a car. Police later arrested a man who matched the suspects description in Mosta.
