Two people were injured in separate traffic accidents on Friday night.
The first incident happened at around seven o’clock in the evening in Triq ix-Xatt, Gżira. A 61-year-old Italian was hit by a that was being driven by a man aged 33, from Marsaskala.
The second incident happened at around 9pm in Triq il-Lunzjata, Santa Venera.
A motorcyclist was injured following a collision with a car.
Both men were taken to Mater Dei Hospital where their injuries were described as serious.
