An amount of cash was stolen from a shop in Msida on Friday evening.
Police reported that a man wearing a hat, dark glasses and a mask entered the shop in Triq il-Makna tas-Serrar, at 8.45pm and threatened to throw acid at the shop assistant if he did not hand over cash.
The robber then fled with the money. A police search is underway.
