Chairman of the Malta Tourism Authority, Gavin Gulia, said that this event has a main theme – that of enhancing and strengthening the tourist product in the country. He went on to say that, as an Authority, we want to make the year 2023 a memorable one for tourism. “The Malta Tourism Authority is focused on success. The success is not with the numbers that are coming to our country, because we have to remember that the first six months were the best of all time when it comes to tourist arrivals. But also success in terms of product and quality of events, which we produce or we support that come from the private sector, a particular case is this.”
Tourism Minster Clayton Barolo said the government wants all Maltese, Gozitians and tourists to have a wide variety of events to choose from.
