A new transport service for the elderly and people with special needs was launched this morning in Paola.
The service was launched by Parliamentary Secretary for Local Government Alison Zerafa Civelli and the Parliamentary Secretary for Funds Europeans Chris Bonett together with the Mayor of Paola Dominic Grima.
Alison Zerafa Civelli said that it is the right of every person to be independent. “Therefore we will continue to invest in ways so that every resident has easy access to services daily necessities”.
The new service was made possible than to EU Funds through the Norway Fund with an investment of €100,000, which includes the cost of the van and running costs including servicing, garaging and a driver for a year.
