12,000 spectators attended yesterday’s concert, BBC Orchestra in Concert, on the Floriana Pits. The theme for this year commemorated the 100th anniversary of the birth of the capital of the world of Hollywood films.
During this evening, the public had the opportunity to listen to music from popular films including Titanic, Little Mermaid, Top Gun Maverick, Armageddon, The Greatest Showman, Dirty Dancing, Back to the Future, Pirates of the Caribbean and others . This event is expected to be broadcast on BBC Radio 2, a radio station in England that reaches an average of 14 million people a day.
