A motorcyclist was seriously injured after being hit by a car in Qormi.
Police said the car driver had lost control and crashed into a pole before crossing into the opposite lane and then colliding with the motorcyclist.
The accident happened on the Mriehel bypass at 7am this morning.
Both men were treated at the scene by a medical team and the motorcyclist was later taken to Mater Dei Hospital where his injuries were described as serious.
