The free tickets for this concert can be collected on Wednesday 5 and Thursday 6 July from the Berġa ta Kastilja (entrance from Triq San Pawl, the City) from 9am to 12pm.

At the same news conference, the Acting Chief Executive of the National Philharmonic Orchestra Chris Muscat spoke, who explained how what the orchestra will present will offer variety including work by Maltese composers.
“It is a great pleasure for me that the musical selection also includes a tribute to Oreste Kirkop, on the centenary of his birth, and the composer Paolino Vassallo, on the centenary of his death: two great Maltese artists who have made a name for themselves and for our country on an international level”, claimed Chris Muscat and stressed that the orchestra is continuing to promote Maltese music.
Dr Lydia Abela concluded by saying that ‘A Night at the Palace’ should be a memorable evening that continues to expose the talent of the musicians and the beautiful values of the Maltese and the Gozitians.
