Busker, Malta’s entry for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, were knocked out in the first semi-final on Tuesday night in Liverpool.
Despite an impressive performance of Dance (Our Own Party), the lads failed to convince the voters. In a change this year, the semi-finals are decided by a public vote. For Malta, the vote was, again, NO. A pity as the Busker entry was indeed catchy and went down well with the audience in Merseyside.
Along with Malta, Ireland, Holland, Latvia and Azerbaijan were eliminated.
