Air Malta in a statement said that flight KM376 from Malta to Berlin on Sunday was
diverted to land at Federico Fellini International Airport, Rimini, Italy, due a technical issue.
All passengers onboard the flight have been provided with necessary assistance and transferred to nearby overnight accommodation. Air Malta is working on a solution to get passengers to their final destination, as soon as possible.
Due to this necessary diversion KM377 from Berlin to Malta will also be rescheduled with a substantial delay. Passengers travelling on KM377 are being provided with the necessary assistance.
Air Malta would like to apologize for the inconvenience caused and will at all times continue to place utmost priority on the safety of our passengers and crew.
