Three people were arrested following police raids at a number of locations in Zabbar.
At a house in the Santa Maria estate in Zabbar, police found cocaine with a street value of around €8,000, as well as a bag with a substance suspected to be cannabis herb, ready for trafficking. A 25-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman were arrested from this residence.
In another raid at a house in Triq Santa Klara, a 20-year-old man from Wied il-Għajn was arrested after officers found cannabis plants that was above the amount allowed by law.
All three have been detained at the Police lock-up in Floriana while further investigations are ongoing.
