The program of activities will also include games in the form of a treasure hunt for families and children in other tourist attractions which include Għar Dalam, Ħajar Qim, the Mnajdra, the Archaeological Park, the National Museum of Natural History and the Catacombs of St. Paul.
These details were announced in a news conference by the Minister for Tourism Clayton Bartolo in the presence of the Chairman of the Malta Tourism Authority Gavin Gulia. Minister Bartolo stressed how the niche of family tourism is one that is constantly growing in the local tourist product.
“It is important that we continue to follow the requests of today’s tourists. Therefore we are committed to strengthening the variety in the events that are organized in our country, where we are seeing that these types of activities go hand in hand with the ultimate vision that in the coming years we will overcome seasonality from the touristic narrative,” repeated Minister Bartolo.
Chairman Gavin Gulia said that the Malta Tourism Authority is committed to continuing to assist more events of this nature so that our country truly embraces a sustainable future for the time to come.
