Two men have been arrested in connection with a spate of thefts in Valletta, police said.
The first theft took place from a hotel in Triq Sant’Orsla on March 7th at 5.15 in the afternoon.
Two days later, on March 9, 2023, at a quarter past eight in the morning , the police were informed that during the previous night a robbery had taken place from a shop in Triq il-Merkanti.
Investigations showed the thefts had been committed by the same people.
Following a search, the two suspects were arrested at a residence in Valletta.
