Hibernians found their goal-scoring boots as they romped to a 4-1 win over Gudja Utd at the Centenary Stadium on Sunday.
A stuttering season has seen Hibs drop off the pace at the top of the premiership but they have now clawed their way into contention for a place in European football.
Jurgen Degabriele started the ball rolling with an early first half strike before Jake Grech converted from the penalty spot to put Hibs two up at the break.
An own goal, from a deflection by Thaylor Aldama shortly after the restart gave Gudja faint hope but a second by Degabriele and a Yunusa Muritala extra time strike made sure of the win for Hibernians. And more importantly, meant they are just a point adrift of third placed Birkirkara.
